Key Features

Brief and Response

The job was to add 2 extensions to create a garden room and a bedroom/en-suite with the addition of a new porch. Both extensions were built with a combination of natural stone and lime rendered walls with oak frames, exposed trusses and windows.

We like a challenge and are particularly pleased with the results as access to this development was very difficult. Sat in a valley, we had to cart all the materials, including the concrete floor beam, by hand downhill for 50m!

Again, the maximum pitch we were able to achieve was 17 degrees for both extensions so we used the Tapco slate to great effect.

Parker SW - A Recommended Local Builder:

"Alex is a good communicator and kept me informed of the progress on a weekly basis. His team always turned up on time and work very hard to complete what was logistically, a difficult project to execute. The workmanship is excellent and the oak timber work outstanding. In short, a quality outfit."
